Algerian student migration Volume 1: Longitudinal sociological study

Algeria is a continental country, with a population of "47,492,737" on August 7, 2025, and a median age of 28.6. This young, formerly colonized country is experiencing an emigration of its skills and a haemorrhage of its grey matter. Student migration is a complete sociological phenomenon in Algeria, which should be documented in depth. Since 2020, President TEBBOUNE has embarked on essential reforms in all sectors, setting himself the goal of leading Algeria to become an emerging country. These reforms have borne fruit and are beneficial in many ways. This sociological study, dating from 2017 to 2023, looked at the issue of Algerian student migration in correlation with global - global and local - as well as historical and contemporary social structures. This study has led to the publication of several journal articles and book chapters. We believe that this work has contributed to the understanding of Algerian society and influenced these reforms.
