Meet Lizzy BennetA popular regency romance author straight out of a broken engagement, and desperate for an idea to spark her next book. She's signed up for this weekend, not to find love, but to cure chronic writer's block. Meet Darcy WainwrightThis dashing, grumpy property developer thinks love is an invention used by retailers and romance writers. He's been forced to join the weekend to boost his likeability and help fundraising efforts for a community in need.Unfortunately, Lizzy and Darcy's first meeting is on the disastrous side of awful. Good for TV ratings, not so good for a successful romance. The producers, of course, giddily shove them together for the cooking, farming, and animal shenanigans.
