Allies, Lies, and Alibis: A Heart for Homicide

Someone seething with anger and carrying a heart for homicide and a high-end pistol killed the sleazy CFO of a Forest Products corporation, SIMON MARCHAND, and his receptionist, the beautiful and somewhat fickle, KIRSTEN THATCHER. PATRICK COLLINS argued with Marchand over his embezzlement of millions from a charity. Much later, a witness saw Patrick fleeing the scene. He had no alibi. The cops had their killer. It was all so simple. And then, there were two more murders. And four attempted murders. Madness reigned. Patrick remained a viable suspect. In the midst of the mayhem, Patrick's sister tasked Private Eyes CAL HEALY AND ALI DUCHENE to keep Patrick out of jail. Despite identifying THREE MORE SUSPECTS with shaky alibis and strong motives, it wasn't enough. The detectives finally realized that faulty assumptions had blocked a path to a solution. No matter - a trap was set. Really, no matter? The bait's conditions put someone in the crosshairs of a merciless killer.
