AMARU. is a collection of Eintou poems by Craig Kenneth Adams. The Eintou poem is a short, punchy poetic African American form that uses a simple & sophisticated 2/4/6/8/6/4/2 pattern in either syllables or words. Eintou poems are built around the idea of "one" - one thought, one moment, one truth - expressed in tight seven-line structures that strips everything back to its essence and symbolises the cyclical nature of life. The word Eintou comes from a West African term meaning "pearl" something small, but carries weight and impact.
