America's Best Place to Live

Just days after Whisper Dunes is named America's Best Place to Live by Forbes, the town is blindsided by a mysterious murder. The police have a long list of potential suspects, starting with Stan Zbikowski - the self-proclaimed #1 Realtor in America's Best Place to Live - and his two best friends: Randy Daugherty and Duane Murphy. Stan, Randy and Duane happen to be the key organizers of the Stop The Rocket protest campaign. With supporters from all over the country, the campaign hopes to stop Space D's development of a rocket launch spaceport on the shores of beautiful Lake Superior. Because of the sensational storyline-murder in America's Best Place to Live-the national media invades Whisper Dunes, upending the way of life for locals while reporting on the battle against Space D, and the murder investigation of Lenny Trubisky - a popular member of the community, who was a thrice divorced plumber and a fairly successful womanizer.
