This, the second book in the ABC series, is designed for anyone between four and one hundred and four. For the very young, to enjoy the sound of the words read by an adult. For older children, to encourage the use of glossary, (and their own dictionaries), to increase and improve their vocabularies. Lastly, for adults and children alike, the enjoyment of bright, detailed illustrations, giving a little insight into the flora, fauna, places and customs of Africa. As Africa is so huge and diverse I have focused on Southern Africa, Zimbabwe in particular, as it is my homeland and therefore more familiar to me. Christopher, Lauren, the cat and I, all hope that you enjoy this book. Zvifadze!
