An Artificial Life

During one of the most peaceful times in our nation's history, in an idyllic New England village known for its peace and seclusion, a perfectly "normal" blond-haired, blue-eyed boy with loving parents grows up to become a violently angry drug addict. For nearly half a century, this addict blames God for his suffering while justifying his use of drugs to manage his pain. What pain? Where did it come from? For a kid with everything in his favor, how could it have all gone so wrong? An Artificial Life answers that question, and more. Can more drugs be a cure for too many? What heals our wounds, time or love? And, when you're lost, is God the only one who can find you?An Artificial Life is more than a cautionary tale, it's a true story illustrating that for some, intense suffering may actually be a direct path to peace and a joy-filled life.
