An illustrated philosophy

A comprehensive collection of the artwork created by Oslo’s legendary studio, Guttestreker. Known for their distinctive fusion of surrealism, symbolism, and intricate line work, the artistic duo Guttestreker crafts visually rich and thought-provoking illustrations that invite viewers into a world of hidden meanings and layered narratives. For the very first time, illustrations and stories from ten years of partnership have been brought together in a single volume. Each piece is deeply rooted in historical events, scientific discoveries, and academic literature, offering a compelling visual interpretation of complex ideas. Accompanied by insightful descriptions and a cohesive narrative, this book provides a deeper understanding of the inspiration and intellectual depth behind each illustration, making it both a visual delight and a stimulating journey through history, knowledge, and imagination. This portal into the art duo's imaginations also features uncolored line drawings for readers to fill in, immersing themselves in the Guttestreker universe and personalizing their copies. In an elevated seek and find style, every drawing is meticulously composed, featuring an abundance of details, each contributing to the broader meaning of the artwork and encouraging multiple levels of interpretation.
