Analysis of dental esthetics and its relationship to self esteem

In today's society, beauty has determined many aspects of life, correlating it with the patient's level of self-esteem, comfort and health. For which facial aesthetics is concerned with studying the level of beauty of the face. Many young people who need orthodontic treatment can create barriers and complexes that become an impediment to meet the challenges of their growth, as can also cause the creation of a negative self-image, which affects interpersonal relationships and low self-esteem to relate.
