The aging of the population represents a major public health challenge, particularly in Tunisia. This demographic transition is accompanied by an increase in frailty. The aim of this study was to assess the functional, nutritional, cognitive and psychological status of elderly patients undergoing primary care, and to identify the determinants associated with frailty. Our study showed that the EGS was effective in identifying frailty in primary care, and in guiding the management of elderly subjects at risk.
