Ancestors of Jennie Collier-Foster and Mark Ferguson

Jeni's ancestors seem to be immigrants who came from England and Germany to the Midwest where they prospered as farmers, businesmen, soldiers,and leaders in their communities. Many served in the Civil War, Korean and VietNam Wars.Mark's ancestors, on the other hand, came for the most part from Colonial America through Plymouth, MA and Salem, NH on the East Coast. Many of his ancestors were Puritans who came from England through Leiden, Netherlands. Several of his lines lead back to the Dukes of Buckingham and Henry Percy, Knights of the Garter and Kings and Queens of England. The majority of those lines have been thoroughly researched, while others, not at all. Most come from major land owners, royalty and lords and ladies of England. Some married into local Native America tribes, others were butchered by the Natives. I suppose it all depended on where you lived.Please use this as a guide, and not an absolute.
