This is the diary of Sydney L. Palmer, a British Anti-Aircraft Gunner during WW2. Sydney spent over 2 years of the war stationed in Malta, the most bombed place in the war. Malta was called 'Suicide Island,' bombed more than London and Berlin combined due to its strategic position in the Mediterranean. Training begins, and so does his story.
