Angi, Govinda, and the Christmas Pup

This lovely children's book offers children a gentle and hopeful way of encountering one of life's deepest mysteries through the death of a beloved pet.. It presents sorrow and loss within the larger narrative of divine love-not as something to be feared, but as an experience to be navigated with understanding and faith. Drawing upon the timeless wisdom found in the world's spiritual traditions, the story reveals delightful dimensions of the spirit and offers readers of all ages the hope that what begins in tragedy may, in time, unfold into something unexpectedly beautiful. He has served as both a Christian minister and a Vaishnava priest. Drawing upon the spiritual wisdom of both traditions, he brings together the spiritual gifts of Christ and those of the ancient Bhakti tradition of India, less familiar in the West, with its timeless emphasis on devotional love and loving service to God. His work offers a vision of spirituality that transcends cultural and religious boundaries. Currently, he resides in Mayapura, India.
