Aniya Hawke: Murder at The Last Resort: 10

Aniya Hawke and Matthew Miles have finally made it to the Moon, not as detectives, but as newlyweds. Their honeymoon at The Last Resort is supposed to be a once-in-a-lifetime escape: luxury beneath glass domes, sweeping lunar views, dazzling nightlife, and a civilization built on technology precise enough to make life possible in a world where nothing can be wasted. For a few precious days, Aniya lets herself stop looking for danger. Then a prominent technology director collapses at the resort bar. At first, it appears to be a tragic heart attack. But when subtle inconsistencies begin to surface, Aniya is asked to help lunar security with a kind of investigation they have never faced before. Every train ride is logged. Every doorway is tracked. Cameras watch nearly everything. On the Moon, where privacy is limited and movement leaves a digital trail, murder should be almost impossible. As Aniya and Matthew uncover an affair, hidden loyalties, unexplained surveillance failures, and a dangerous drug network moving through the lunar nightlife, the case grows more complex with every answer. Somewhere inside one of the most monitored societies ever built, someone found a way to disappear between the data. If this truly is the first murder on the Moon, can Aniya solve it before the killer proves that even the safest place humanity has ever built still has secrets that can stay hidden?
