ANTARES

ANTARES is a poetry collection about love in its most profound and contradictory forms-its sweetness and bitterness, intimacy and distance, devotion and loss.Taking its name from Antares, the brightest star in the constellation of Scorpius, the collection draws upon the image of two celestial bodies bound by a shared centre of gravity. In Sanja Lukic's poetry, this becomes a powerful metaphor for the attraction between two human beings and their longing to become one.Throughout the collection, love moves between the earthly and the divine, between fulfilment and longing, hope and sorrow, passion and forgiveness. Rich in metaphor, symbolism, and spiritual reflection, these poems explore love not simply as an emotion, but as a force that gives meaning to human existence.ANTARES invites the reader into an intimate poetic world in which life corresponds with poetry, poetry with love, and love with faith. Even in moments of separation and pain, the collection holds to an enduring conviction: love remains.A lyrical and deeply reflective collection for readers drawn to poetry about love, spirituality, longing, and the mysteries of the human heart.
