Apparently, I Own a House Now: An As It Turns Out Novel

Graham Martin has a plan for everything. Inheriting his father's house was not part of it.At forty-two, Graham has a successful career, an amicable divorce, a perfectly functional condo, and absolutely no desire to renovate the deteriorating house his late father left behind. His solution is obvious: make the necessary repairs, wait out the one-year restriction on the property, sell it, and move on.Then he hires Theo Bennett.Theo is forty, irritatingly perceptive, very good at restoring old buildings, and entirely unimpressed by Graham's determination to treat the house-and most uncomfortable emotions-as problems that can be efficiently managed. What begins as a straightforward renovation becomes considerably less straightforward when Graham moves into the house temporarily, discovers pieces of his father's life he never knew existed, and starts spending more time with an architect who keeps asking inconvenient questions.About the house.About Graham's marriage.About what he actually wants. And, eventually, about them.Because the house may need more than cosmetic repairs.Apparently, so does Graham's carefully organized life.Apparently, I Own a House Now is a warm, wry M/M contemporary romance about complicated fathers, amicable ex-husbands, unexpected community, questionable renovation decisions, and two grown men discovering that having an exit isn't the same thing as choosing to stay.A standalone novel in the As It Turns Out collection.
