It is an autologous preparation, it decreases the cost of regenerative therapy and is less time consuming. Hence, Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) has now widely utilised for a variety of procedures to help facilitate the repair and regeneration in oral and maxillofacial surgeries. There are various other clinical applications of Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) in surgical field, which should be explored.
