This book deals with the confrontation between artistic activities and competition law. This convergence of competition law and creativity can prove problematic in many respects. However, solutions must be found, as artistic activities are confronted with extremely diverse and purely economic competition issues, which intellectual property law is not always able to address. This study therefore attempts to determine how competition law can support and protect artistic activities, and the French cultural exception, at a time when their global dissemination is facilitated by new technologies.
