Aruna Prashna is the opening section of the Taittiriya Araṇyaka in the Krishna Yajurveda. While formally part of the Aranyaka texts that stand between the ritual Srauta literature and the deeply philosophical Upanishads, Aruna Prashna is striking for its systematic attention to natural phenomena, calendrical time, and practical cosmology.
