Background: NCC cadets routinely engage in prolonged standing, marching, and load-bearing activities that may affect foot posture and lower-limb biomechanics. Objective: To assess foot posture among NCC cadets using the Foot Posture Index (FPI-6) and determine the prevalence of different foot posture types. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted on 60 NCC cadets aged 18-20 years from 36 Maharashtra Battalion. Cadets with at least one year of training were assessed using the FPI-6. Descriptive statistics were used to analyze foot posture distribution. Results: Pronated foot posture was the most prevalent finding, observed in 48.3% of left feet and 43.3% of right feet. Neutral posture was present in 31.7% and 36.7% of left and right feet, respectively. Supinated and highly pronated postures were less common. Conclusion: Pronated foot posture predominated among NCC cadets, suggesting that training-related activities may influence foot alignment. Early screening may assist in injury prevention and targeted interventions. Keywords: Foot Posture Index, NCC Cadets, Pronation, Foot Posture, Biomechanics.
