Bol Global alcohol consumption has grown significantly in recent years, a phenomenon that has contributed to an increase in diseases worldwide. The qualification of professionals who deal with drug users is a matter of great concern. This study aims to identify the perceptions of professionals who deal with issues related to alcohol, alcoholism and alcoholics on a daily basis. A study was conducted based on measuring the attitudes of professionals participating in a course offered by CRR-ES. The EAFAAA instrument was applied before and after training. The final sample consisted of 131 participants. The professionals tended to have more positive attitudes towards alcohol, alcoholism and alcoholics after participating in the training. The strongest predictors of positive attitudes found in this study were having experience working with this clientele and having participated in this training. It was proven that the level of knowledge directly influences the attitudes of professionals towards the subject, and that the greater the knowledge, the greater the tendency to present more positive attitudes.
