Back In My Day, Said Grandpa: 1

Every story Grandpa tells begins the same way: "Back in my day..."But once Grandpa gets started, you never know where his stories will go. From searching garbage cans for breakfast and meeting Grandma beside a very special garbage can, to walking through mountains of snow, sleeping inside a giant sock, and sharing one little white rubber mouse, Grandpa's memories seem to get bigger and sillier every time he tells them.Back in My Day, Said Grandpa, is a funny and heartfelt children's book about family stories, imagination, laughter, and the memories grandparents leave behind.Inspired by the unforgettable tall tales of a much-loved grandfather, this warm illustrated story celebrates the special bond between generations and reminds families that even the silliest stories can become treasured memories.Perfect for reading together, bedtime story time, and starting conversations about the funny stories in your own family.Back in My Day, Said Grandpa is part of the growing Said Grandpa Collection by Jimmy Vargrove.
