BAD HABITS: The Wicked Sister-Hoods

Seventeen women in holy habits. One damaged Marshal. A line between grace and evil that is about to break. Eleven years ago, Deputy Marshal Caleb Reese trusted the wrong smile - and 211 people died. Now he is sent beyond the Kessing Line to hunt the Order of Perpetual Mercy: seventeen former convicts turned fugitive killers, led by the brilliant and ruthless Mother Constance Parnell. For forty years, the Concord called the Order a place of rehabilitation. But behind its vows of penance, mercy became a lie, and Parnell turned that lie into a weapon. Four Marshals have already gone after them. None came back. Reese may be the only one damaged enough to survive the sisters' deadliest gift: making men believe they are safe. But as the hunt leads him from massacred colonies to the abandoned monastery of Saint Reya's Hold, Reese discovers the truth is darker than the crimes themselves - and stopping Parnell may mean deciding which sins can be answered with justice, and which ones can never be forgiven. Where grace ends, evil begins.
