Bad Metal: A Manchester Massacre (2nd Edition)

Bad Metal is a grotesque, surreal and darkly comic adult Manchester detective fantasy in which murderous extractor fans, Roman cults, dead detectives, academics, soldiers, sex, pop music, history and Rennies somehow occupy the same universe. At its centre is DS Dodgie Dodge - a decidedly unconventional Manchester detective with a dodgy knee, troublesome indigestion and instincts that prove remarkably difficult to ignore. As inexplicable deaths become massacres and bad metal begins to reveal its murderous purpose, Dodgie and his eccentric allies are drawn into an increasingly outrageous battle between good and evil.Bonkers, bloody and very Mancunian, Bad Metal is a crime novel that refuses to behave itself.Of course, Jerry. I'd make them intriguing rather than over-explanatory, and keep the peculiar dark-comic identity of Bad Metal.
