Barahna: (The Naked, an Urdu Novel)

A novel is a prose story in which a picture of human life is presented. That is, the novel is a mirror in which different forms of life can be seen. Qaisi Rampuri was the son-in-law of the style writer, memoirist and travel writer Mullah Wahidi Dehlvi. He made his own mark in literature with regard to novel writing. He wrote countless novels on social, political and historical themes. The number of his novels is more than 100. Qaisi lived a full life as a creator, translator and writer. He played an important role in making Urdu fiction literature successful in the middle decades of the twentieth century through his creative power, strength of imagination, artistic skill and simplicity and attractiveness of his style of narration.
