Barneys Special Day

Barney didn't just have a special day - he had a special job.For a few days, Barney came to stay in a children's home, where some children were finding things a bit hard. With his wagging tail, soft fur, and gentle ways, Barney helped the children feel calmer, braver, and less alone.The children talked to him, played with him, and cuddled him when feelings felt too big. Barney listened without words and stayed close when it mattered most.When it was time for Barney to go home, the children smiled a little more, knowing that even hard days can feel easier when kindness comes to visit.The Barney & Rainbow Series is inspired by real journeys, real love, and real dogs.Rainbow, the cocker spaniel, was Barney's best friend and travelling companion. Though Rainbow has sadly passed away, she still has a special place in the van - Lady Di - and in every story.Barney now carries their adventures forward, with Rainbow's spirit never far behind.
