Bol Fraidy-Bear: the Koala who was scared of heights Bear is a little koala with a big name-given by his mother, who hoped he would grow up brave like a bear. But there's one problem: Bear is terrified of heights! Every climb up the eucalyptus trees sends his tummy twisting and his paws shaking. Determined to face his fears, Bear embarks on a gentle adventure through the treetops, discovering that courage isn't about never being scared-it's about trying anyway, even when your legs wobble and your heart pounds. A heartwarming and humorous tale full of Australian animals, including a lace monitor, sugar gliders, a feathertail glider, a ringtail possum, rainbow lorikeets, a sulphur-crested cockatoo, a laughing kookaburra and his cousin Fattus Wombatus. This story shows young readers that bravery comes in all shapes and sizes-even in a koala called Bear. Lovingly created by the Author/Photographer - a book for the young and the young at heart.
