Beaucarnea op stam

Species: Beaucarnea recurvata · Height: 120 cm (including nursery pot) · Pot size: ø32 cm The ponytail palm (Beaucarnea recurvata) has a swollen trunk base that stores water, a slender stem and, at the top, a plume of thin, long drooping leaves. This standard specimen is 120 cm tall including the grow pot and stands in a pot of ø32 cm. It suits anyone who's often away or quickly forgets to water, and looks good in a bright living room, a hallway with a window or in the office. Place it in as bright a spot as possible; it tolerates some sun, though harsh midday sun right behind glass can scorch the leaf tips. Only water once the soil is dry to a good depth, roughly every two to four weeks in summer and even less in winter. It is not toxic to cats and dogs. Delivered in the grow pot.
