BETWEEN PROTECTION AND DELAY: the crisis of speed in adoption process Brazilian legal system

This work is part of contemporary research into Family Law and Childhood and Youth Law, proposing a rigorous and multidimensional analysis of the adoption process in Brazil. Based on a solid bibliographical review and empirical data, the research goes beyond the normative description to identify the legal, institutional and socio-cultural dimensions that compromise procedural speed.The study shows that delay results from a complex interaction between the normative structure, the limitations of the judiciary and social conditioning factors. With a critical and propositional approach, the authors not only diagnose the causes of inefficiency, but present concrete solutions to make agility and rigorous protection compatible.The authors' multidisciplinary expertise - combining Law, Management and Human Rights - gives the work a technical and strategic character that is indispensable for tackling a problem that impacts the development of children and adolescents. The result is an academic contribution that is essential for the realization of fundamental rights and the construction of a more humane and efficient justice system.
