Beyond Marks: What a Classroom Taught Me About Life, People & Learning.

What does a school really teach you?Not the syllabus. Not the exam results. The real stuff - the moments that never make it into any report.Beyond Marks is a collection of true stories from real classrooms, told by Shailendra Porwal - Principal of Vidyashram Public School, Kota-who spent years observing, listening, and learning what education is truly made of.These are stories about: - A quiet child in Class 7 whose hidden talent nobody had noticed - until one conversation changed everything - A teacher who broke down in the principal's office after eleven years of giving everything - An angry parent who came to fight - and left with something he didn't expect - Thirty-one children who "failed" an exam that was never fair to begin with - The children of Kota, India's coaching capital - who carry far more than their schoolbags - A principal who got it wrong, admitted it out loud, and learned what real leadership costs - This is not a book about how to get better marks. This is a book about what schools are really for.Written in warm, conversational English for anyone who has ever been a student, a parent, or a teacher - Beyond Marks is an honest, deeply human look at the moments that shape who we become, long after the last exam is over."Your marks are one chapter. Not the whole book."
