This is a collection of articles by distinguished scholars of the Hebrew Bible and its ancient versions; commemorating the work of the late Michael Weitzman. This collection focuses on the Hebrew Bible, its ancient versions and textual history. These are the fields in which the late Dr Weitzman had made his name, and the volume commemorates his lifetime's work, so prematurely ended. But it also stands on its own as an authoritative statement of current research in these and closely related fields.
