This book aims to provide a foundation for the sport of freestyle snowboarding in the fields of biomechanics and physics. It summarises and analyses the material conditions involved. Furthermore, the take-off techniques used in freestyle snowboarding and skateboarding are broken down and analysed using a series of images. With regard to the biomechanical and physical aspects of freestyle snowboarding, general specialist literature is compared with the sport of freestyle snowboarding, and various areas of application of the laws of physics are broken down. The axis trajectories of various jumps are presented and explored in this book using modified image sequences from snowboarding magazines. For this purpose, the image sequences were simplified and all distracting factors were eliminated.
