Black Swan in Trieste: Trieste Series #3

WHO IS TRYING TO KILL MILO MARCHETTI? Is it Marotti, the deputy chief of Criminalpol, a national security agency, to silence him over his knowledge of the politically explosive circumstances of the death of Fabio Borini, a fascist government minister? If not him, who? Donatella Mazzola of the rival mob family, Pavelic, a fascist Croat, or Riina, the imprisoned boss of the Mafia? Milo has made deals, exchanging his criminal businesses for legal ones, with all three of them. Is one after a better deal by eliminating Milo? Could it be Stojanovic, the Muslim-hating Serb, who has clashed with the Nasim family for decades? Could it be Nouri, his second-in command, or the rebellious Nasim capos who are unhappy that Milo replaced the ailing Mohammed Nasim as the family leader? Milo better find the culprit soon or his reign as the boss of the family is going to be a short one.
