Blind in Babylon

At the dawn of a new millennium and six weeks from graduation, Kyle Pemberton is still uncertain about a lot of things. He's processing the death of his older brother on New's Year's Eve, speculating about the identity of his birth parents (current daydream is WWF Champion HHH and Heavy Metal's Taarna the Taarakian), and trying to get back to a Catholic faith as fervent as his little sister's. But Kyle is pretty sure he loves Libby, the dangerous, soulful beauty with snark to match. Now, on trip with friends to see a Third Eye Blind concert in New York City, this might finally be the night. A literary exploration evocative of "The Ice Storm", "Catcher in the Rye", and early 2000s Coca-Cola ads, "Blind in Babylon" is a nostalgic and poignant coming-of-age story filled with humor, romance, and faith, in which truths are discovered, love comes out, and life tastes good.
