Blood on the Purgatoire: Nancy Ellis F.B.I.

Coming home was supposed to be a celebration. Instead, it became a living nightmare. When FBI Behavioral Analysis Unit Special Agent Nancy Ellis arrives at her parents' secluded home outside Trinidad, Colorado, she walks into a gruesome slaughterhouse. Her entire family has been brutally tortured and murdered. Drawing on her training to preserve the bloody scene, Nancy refuses to sit on the sidelines as her BAU unit moves in to take over the federal investigation. Teaming up with Las Animas County Sheriff Raymond Trujillo, Nancy tracks a web of drug trafficking and ruthless brutality along the Purgatoire River corridor. The horrifying truth soon surfaces: her younger sister was unknowingly tied to the volatile nephew of a transnational cartel kingpin-and targeted by a surgical, phantom cleaner known only as the Extinguisher. As the body count rises and deadly ambushes threaten the town, Nancy must match wits with an assassin who leaves no trace behind. To bring her family justice, she will have to plunge deep into the darkness before the killer finishes erasing everyone who stands in his way.
