Patented automatic professional incubator with very low energy consumption. The incubator is ideal to incubate hen, pheasant, guinea fowl, quail, grey partridge, partridge, duck, mallard, goose, turkey, peacock, coturnix, pigeon, Virginia quail, exotic birds and birds of prey eggs. Capacity up to 16 medium and large-sized eggs (including goose eggs) or up to 64 small-sized eggs (like quail) thanks to the patented universal egg tray system. EGG TURNING SYSTEM: LUMIA 16 EXPERT automatically turns the incubated eggs for the entire incubation period. The microprocessor inside is programmed to regularly change the inclination degree of the eggs, always varying it differently, exactly as it happens inside a nest. Borotto incubators allow the vertical position of the eggs during incubation, which is the same as that used in the latest generation industrial incubators and that guarantees significantly higher hatching rates. INCUBATOR STRUCTURE IN HEAT-RESISTANT ABS: in order to reduce heat loss during both the incubation and hatching process, LUMIA 16 is made of ABS thermal insulation material, that makes the machine solid and robust. Moreover, an antibacterial silver ion additive is added to the material to prevent the harmful growth of bacteria on the machine surface during its functioning, preventing the embryo from getting a bacterial infection, which is one of the main causes of death when hatching chicks. PATENTED AUTOMATIC HUMIDIFICATION SYSTEM Thanks to SIRIO automatic humidifier, it’s possible to set the desired humidity rate by using the buttons located on an intuitive LCD display, without the need for further checks or water refilling level until hatching. The humidity percentage remains stable with absolute precision thanks to a latest generation humidity sensor. NATURAL DYNAMIC EVAPORATION: humidity is directly caused by water evaporation. Steam, which does not contain any limestone, does not drag any deposits on the shell neither on the internal components, nor on the structure of the incubator, whereas water particles, being sterile, carry no bacteria. Therefore the death of the embryo during the hatching phase, due to infection or diseases and a decrease in oxygenations (with consequential weakening), is avoided.
