Boy to Man, Man Son: A Memoir of Life Lessons & Resilient Rebounds

A journey encompasses more than circumstances alone. It is in the reflection that we find wisdom-and wisdom, once found, is meant to be shared. The journey of Carnell Moses begins "on a crisp winter Sunday in December...at Earl K. Long Medical Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana." From there, it quickly moves into the bright yellow apartments where his mother raised him and his sister, crashes headlong into the experience of young fatherhood, and eventually settles into mentoring of his own grown children and others in the community that now surrounds him. Each story is a vehicle for a lesson learned and an insight freely shared. All Carnell asks in return is for us to sit with him awhile. Whether you come for one nugget at a time or the whole book in one sitting, join him on this journey through a life well-lived and wisdom well-earned.
