Breaking The Cycle

Breaking the Cycle by Ryan Howze is a bold and unflinching call to confront the realities of racism beyond surface-level understanding. Through personal stories and candid reflection, Howze invites readers into an honest, often uncomfortable conversation about white supremacy, privilege, and systemic injustice. Rather than attempting to prove that racism exists, this book challenges those who already recognize it to take meaningful action in dismantling it.With clarity and urgency, Howze exposes how everyday behaviors, assumptions, and societal structures reinforce inequality-often without intention. He urges readers to move past guilt and toward growth, self-awareness, and accountability. This is not a passive read-it is a guide for those ready to listen, reflect, and engage in the difficult but necessary work of change. Breaking the Cycle is ultimately about shifting perspective, embracing discomfort, and committing to a more just and equitable future.
