Broken Cross

Priest. Scholar. Fugitive. Tom Lache never imagined fleeing through Cappadocia, but now he's running for his life. He's wanted for the murder of a brilliant Muslim archaeologist, whose discovery could shatter Christianity. His only ally is Rachel Goldman, a New York Times reporter and rabbi's daughter. Tom must decipher the Gospel of Longinus, an ancient text stating that Christ planned and survived his crucifixion. He faces the unthinkable dilemma-is his faith based on a lie, or will a lie destroy his faith? Tom and Rachel navigate duplicity, shifting alliances, and secret agendas as each revelation draws them further into a conspiracy that would change the world forever. From ancient caves to modern-day laboratories, every step is more treacherous than the last. Pursued by the police, assassins, and the Vatican's enigmatic spymaster, Tom must confront not only an elaborate conspiracy but also a dark secret from his own past. Racing against time, he must prove his innocence and expose the truth behind the gospel before it's too late. Broken Cross is a heart-pounding story of faith, betrayal, and the relentless pursuit of the truth, set in an exotic locale where ancient history collides with a modern-day conspiracy.
