Bol One plan. Two boys. A thousand bricks. When Skylar was seven, he lost his dad - and decided he needed a plan. Not a small one. A plan to take care of other kids like him, kids who'd rather build something quiet and lasting than run around screaming on a playground.Skylar is autistic, and the superpowers that come with it - his focus, his sense of order, his ability to notice what others miss - are exactly what built Brick Fusion: a club where kids build with LEGO bricks in teams, learning to collaborate, create, and tell stories together. But an idea is only as strong as the people who help carry it, and Skylar needed his best friend, Aaron, willing to be the voice when Skylar needed quiet, and steady when things fell apart.Building More Than Bricks is the true story of two boys, one plan, and the superpowers it took to build something that lasts.
