Written by legendary local historian, Forrest Brockman, based on accounts of his Grandfather, Theodore Brockman, who owned some of the land on which these stories played out. Many pictures were taken by Forrest, or passed down to him, of the actual barns and houses of the battle sites and skirmishes that followed the War.
