BUZZ Poetry of Los Angeles

In this book you will find poems written over the last 6 years, many during the world-widepandemic of Covid, years 2020-2023. I think that the solitary-ness we all experienced at thattime led to expanded creativity. Many people took up painting, music and writing. I spent moretime with my poetry. I began to look around the city. I began to think about the city. I began toexplore the city. I began to think about how I was affected by this city. And I began to writeabout the city. With a poet's eye, I noticed much that I hadn't noticed before. And like with anylove affair, there were many moments of joy and many of despair. I found the new familiaritywith this city both challenging and enlightening and so I wrote about that.This book is the result of that exploration. I hope that you find moments that touch you andthat you can relate to. Most of all, I hope that you enjoy it.
