Called to be Holy: Devotions for Living a Life Set Apart God

Called to Be Holy Devotions for Living a Life Set Apart for God What would change if you took God's call to holiness seriously? Holiness isn't reserved for pastors, missionaries, or unusually spiritual Christians. It is God's invitation to every believer-a call to belong completely to Him and allow His presence to transform the way we think, choose, speak, serve, and live. In Called to Be Holy, Jon Carnes presents 25 Scripture-centered devotions challenging believers to move beyond ordinary Christianity and pursue a life genuinely set apart for God. Readers will explore principle-centered living, pursuing God wholeheartedly, Spirit-filled character, authentic discipleship, Christian priorities, and the difference between outward religion and inward transformation. These devotions will challenge you to pursue God rather than simply religious activity, build your life around biblical principles, examine the evidence of the Holy Spirit within your life, recognize attitudes that resemble the Pharisees more than Jesus, understand the price and purpose of discipleship, and refuse to compromise character for comfort. God's call to holiness is not primarily about creating a list of things Christians cannot do. It is about becoming the person God created you to be. >God isn't calling you to ordinary Christianity. He is calling you to belong completely to Him. Be different. Be surrendered. Be holy. Book 4 of The Daily Disciple Devotional Collection.
