There are approximately 15.1 million people living in Germany with a migrant background. The largest group of migrants comes from Turkey, accounting for 25.1%. Most Turkish migrants are Muslims. Demographic change also affects migrants who have been living in Germany for decades. The number of migrants requiring care is set to rise by up to 2.8 million by 2030. Consequently, the issue of care provision for this migrant group must also be addressed. In order to provide needs-based care, the first step is to identify the care needs of Muslim migrants. The aim of this thesis is to identify the care needs of first-generation Muslim migrants and, on this basis, to outline possible courses of action for their care.
