The Blacksmith Passbook(R) prepares you for your test by allowing you to take practice exams in the subjects you need to study. It provides hundreds of questions and answers in the areas that will likely be covered on your upcoming exam, including but not limited to: demonstration of knowledge of working heats in the fabrication of tools and parts; shaping of metal, using hand forge, gas furnace, steam hammer, and related machines and hand tools, forge welding and tool hardening and tempering; properties of various metals (primarily hot-rolled structural steel) in fabrication and application; basic arithmetic and measurements; sketch reading; safety; identification of tools and equipment; and other related areas.
