Carly Remembers

This is a psychological thriller that follows Carly, a young woman found in parking lot, beaten up who has lost her memory. The story unfolds as her therapist attempts to assist her recovery of her memories, and a policeman investigates following clues which point to someone who is leaving her threatening messages. All of this is complicated by past memories of abuse and incest that are surfacing. I have written this book attempting to weave a compelling thriller around my own therapy and life into this story which has been 30 years in the making since I first got the idea while working typing Probation reports for the Los Angeles County Probation Department and working for a private investigator typing investigation reports. Toward the end of this process, I became aware that I wanted to give a voice to abuse victims. While this is fiction, I have attempted to bring the subject of abuse/incest into discussion.
