Chamaerops Humilis multi stam Palmboom Palm 180 cm Ø45cm

Species: Chamaerops humilis · Height: 220 cm (including nursery pot) · Pot size: ø50 cm This multi-stemmed European fan palm (Chamaerops humilis) is between 160 and 220 cm tall, measured including the grow pot, and stands in a pot of ø50 cm. Several stems of different lengths each carry a fan of stiff leaves, giving the plant a broad, layered crown. That makes it suitable as a large stand-alone feature on a terrace, in a courtyard garden or in a spacious conservatory. The species comes from the Mediterranean and copes well with sun, wind and dry spells. Water when the top layer of soil is dry and make sure drainage is good. It tolerates light frost, but in a pot the roots need protection during hard frost. Watch out for the spiny leaf stems. The palm is delivered in the grow pot.
