Strange is the life of Irene Wellhouse, growing up in the village of Condyle with the influence of a monotheism that denies the existence of the Fae. Despite this upbringing, their existence has been proven to her from a young age, having been taken to their realm by a Faery Ring. Now in her adulthood, she must seek their assistance, traveling to the Fae Realm once more of her own accord for the sake of her daughter. But the Fae deal in trade; to fulfill her request, she must return home with one of their own. Irene's Fae companion - Bloom - proves to be stranger than she'd ever expected, but for their partnership to work, they must learn to trust one another. After all, that is what a Changeling seeks in this realm.
