The lack of consistent and current scientific evidence, coupled with children's oral health needs, encourages new studies to reduce anxiety using simple and practical techniques for approaching and managing children. Care for pediatric patients can and should be well prepared not only by the dentist, but also by those involved in the process. Seeking to achieve quality of life, this study seeks to add alternatives to change this feeling of anxiety and shows that the continuous search for viable means and solutions to help deal with children's emotional tension can enable benefits in dental care, working with the child as a whole.
