The concept of grandparenting styles goes beyond the practices of grandparents. Style is, in fact, the context in which grandparents operate in socialising their grandchildren according to their beliefs and values. The theme of grandparenting is defined as the kinship bond between grandparents and grandchildren, the latter being in childhood or adolescence.
